A Cameroonian NGO committed to children, women and families
Lumière Horizon Cameroun (LHC) is a Cameroonian non-governmental organisation committed to the protection, empowerment, and development of children, women, and vulnerable families. We work in urban and rural communities across Cameroon, partnering with local actors to create environments where families can thrive not simply survive.
LHC’s programmes are grounded in community realities. We do not import solutions from elsewhere. We listen first, plan together, and support communities to lead their own change.
Our Mission
To protect, empower, and uplift children, women, and families in Cameroon’s most vulnerable communities through integrated programmes that restore dignity, expand opportunity, and build lasting resilience.
