Lumière Horizon Cameroun (LHC) is a Cameroonian non-governmental organisation committed to the protection, empowerment, and development of children, women, and vulnerable families. We work in urban and rural communities across Cameroon, partnering with local actors to create environments where families can thrive not simply survive.

Cameroon's most vulnerable
LHC's primary beneficiaries are children aged 0–17 experiencing vulnerability, adolescent girls and young women navigating barriers to education, women — particularly those heading households, families under stress, and communities in underserved urban and rural areas of Cameroon.

Marie & Her Daughter
“Before, I worried every day about whether my daughter was safe at school. Now she comes home excited to tell me what she learned.”
Marie is a mother of three in Cameroon's Centre Region. After her youngest daughter began attending LHC's after-school safe space, their family's daily life began to shift — not dramatically, but meaningfully. Marie joined a women's support circle, learned financial planning skills, and found solidarity with other mothers.
